Book signing

Book signing in my online bookshop - the books at the ready, the pen is poised... The characters in the books are all getting excited to be off to new homes to be set loose into the imaginations of young readers everywhere.

But I'm Not Sleepy is still on Spring promotion at just £5 and all my books are postage free, so why not browse around this weekend, you might just stumble across your next favourite book...

Sales team...

The Lost in a Book sales team (still me...) is now in full swing and enjoying the new challenges of boosting sale, and also looking forward to any bonus that might be forthcoming. The chance of a mini break is a big incentive, but if sales don't pick up this might be downgraded to a micro break, or even a walk in the garden... but less of the negativity - positive thinking and bonuses - that's what's needed here...

Meanwhile the characters of the books are getting restless... Iver No-idea from Doodle Mayhem is the worst for this, and quite likely to start being disruptive and kicking letters around into an unreadable jumble. Maybe I should enlist his help in promoting sales, if nothing else it'll give him something to do, and keep him busy.

Spring promotion - grab a bestseller at new low price

My sales team (me) have been brainstorming ideas (if it's possible to brainstorm by oneself without causing concern...) and the team (still me...) have come up with...

A spring promotion! and where better to start than with Lost in a Book's Bestseller But I'm Not Sleepy
Not so long ago we had snow on the ground and A Face Full of Snow was a great seasonal read, and now with lambs in the fields what better to read about than a herd of rebellious sheep...
But before you start counting sheep to get off to sleep - make sure you have a sheepdog to round them up, or you could have  your own sheep trouble...

Inspiring book sales

So the books are written, they're waiting eagerly to go out into the world and entertain, so what's stopping them?

Nobody knows they're there - they have to shout to be heard above the crowd. In a world where google seems to have the answer to everything I did the obvious and googled  'inspiring sales' to which I was given lots of useful advice about bonuses and incentives to make my 'sales staff' sell more. So... as I am my sales staff I'm wondering what to bribe myself with first - a new car, a mini break, a private swimming pool...
