Fairs and marketing

I'm attending an autumn craft fair on Saturday 3rd Nov. at Southlands Methodist Church on Bishopthorpe Road, York. This is a bit of a first for me, as I've only done events where I have a table to myself previously. I'll be joining the ladies from 'Look What Mum's Made' on their stall. They are a York and local area mum's company, selling a whole range of products made by local mums, including my books. They currently trade from the first floor of Blossom and Walker, Lord Mayors Walk, York, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

My October project has been to build a website. I bought a book - an absolute beginers guide, and read all about codes, only to end up using an easy upload site - well it's a start!

I've also made a start on illustrations and a bit of rewriting for another book, which may or may not be launched into the slush piles!
The doodle series won't be getting sent out to any more slush piles, if sales go well I'll publish the second one next year.

Today I planted a tree, as a living celebration of the publication of my book.

Going global

My Doodle Mayhem books will soon be in 4 countries! It's already here in the UK, Canada and Spain, and one is currently winging its way to New Zealand.
