Get lost in a Book - escaping into my own imagination - care to join me...?

I'm feeling a nautical theme coming on - last week I found myself daydreaming about an ark, as my washing machine threatened to cause a flood - it turned out that it may have been straw that was the last straw... in the coin trap there was only a 20p coin - not enough to fund a new machine... but there was also a tie-wrap and some straw...

Today the storms are gathering outside - which is a better place for them by far - well done that storm...! So maybe my house will drop anchor and become an ark... or maybe I'll just settle for my online bookshop being on an ark... hmmm - off to draw boats...

Building an ark...

That's it, I'm building an ark...! I've managed to trick the monster in the corner into doing a couple more loads of washing, though it's doing its best to create more washing than it washes as it dribbles out of a pipe at the front into a bowl. It's blocked somewhere. but refuses to let me pull the coin trap out to check, maybe there's enough money to buy a new washer in there - or at least to buy timber for the ark...

I'm getting quite taken with the idea of a an ark now...  ok if anyone needs me I'm sailing away in an imaginary ark, you may have to shout quite loud to get my attention...
